I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited me in…”
During the month of January, the third grade will be collecting breakfast cereals for their service project “Good Nutrition Begins with Breakfast” campaign. This food drive is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Newark Catholic Charities. It is a great way to help poor families, the home-bound, and the elderly who live on fixed incomes and struggle to afford a nutritious breakfast. They are interested in receiving hot or cold nutritional breakfast cereals that are not sugar coated.
Collection boxes are in the front of the school during school hours until Friday, January 31st.
